Choosing an aesthetic clinic is harder than it should be. Every website says the same things — experienced team, advanced technology, personalised care — and none of it helps you distinguish between practices that differ substantially in what they actually offer.

So rather than repeat the standard claims, here’s what’s specifically true of Beauty & Laser, with enough detail that you can verify it or compare it against alternatives.

Who We Are

Beauty & Laser is an aesthetic clinic on Eastlawn Avenue in Windsor, Ontario. We offer laser hair removal, injectable treatments, skin treatments, RF-based skin tightening, mesotherapy, trichology and intimate wellness treatments.

The practice is deliberately not high-volume. Consultations are unhurried, treatment plans are built individually, and we decline treatments we don’t think are appropriate — which happens more often than it does at practices working to a menu.

Our Technology

Equipment matters more in this field than marketing generally acknowledges, and it’s one of the few things you can verify before booking.

Asclepion MeDioStar Monolith. A dual-wavelength diode laser platform operating at 810nm and 940nm, used for hair removal and other applications. The relevance of the diode wavelength is that it penetrates past much of the surface melanin, making treatment appropriate across a wider range of skin tones — including Fitzpatrick IV–VI — than broad-spectrum IPL systems.

If you’ve been told elsewhere that laser hair removal isn’t suitable for your skin tone, that assessment may have been about their equipment rather than your skin. Our guide on IPL vs laser explains the technical difference.

Morpheus8. RF microneedling for skin tightening, texture and scarring, on both face and body. Suitable across all skin types.

RF intimate wellness platform. For non-surgical intimate treatments, delivered privately by a female practitioner.

We publish the make and specification of our equipment openly. That’s a low bar, and a surprising number of clinics don’t clear it.

Who Performs Treatments

Injectable treatments at Beauty & Laser are administered by Valentina, working under delegation from a licensed physician as required under Ontario regulations.

This is worth asking any clinic about directly. Injectable neuromodulators and dermal fillers involve prescription products, and there are legal restrictions on who may administer them. A practice operating correctly will answer the question specifically and without hesitation.

Our Approach

Assessment before recommendation. Every treatment plan starts with an evaluation of your skin, hair, medical history and goals — not with a price list. Sometimes the honest answer is that a treatment won’t achieve what you’re hoping for, or that a different approach is more appropriate.

Realistic expectations. Treatment plans here are built around what the evidence supports. Laser hair removal typically takes 8–12 sessions. Morpheus8 results develop over months. Injectable results settle at two weeks. We say this upfront rather than after you’ve paid.

Transparent pricing. Injectable treatments are priced per unit, so you know exactly what you’re receiving. Treatment plan costs are given before you commit. Current pricing is published on our pricing page.

For Detroit and Michigan Clients

Windsor sits directly across the border from Detroit, and a meaningful proportion of our clients cross for treatment.

The practical reasons are straightforward: the exchange rate works in your favour, and we quote in USD as well as CAD so there’s no ambiguity about cost. Treatment standards are regulated under Ontario’s health professional framework.

If you’re travelling from Michigan, mention it when booking — we can advise on scheduling around border crossing times and, where a treatment plan requires multiple sessions, help you plan the timing sensibly.

What to Expect at a First Visit

Consultation is free and carries no obligation to book.

We’ll discuss what’s bothering you, examine the relevant area, explain which options are appropriate and which aren’t, and give you a clear picture of timeline and cost. If you want to think about it, that’s the expected response rather than a disappointing one.

For treatments involving prescription products, there’s an additional discussion about your medical history and any contraindications.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free consultations? Yes, for all treatments, with no obligation to proceed.

Do you accept USD? Yes. We quote in both CAD and USD for clients travelling from the US.

What if I’m not sure which treatment I need? That’s the normal starting point. Come to a consultation and we’ll work it out — describing the concern is more useful than naming a treatment.

How do I know if my skin tone is suitable for laser? Our diode platform is appropriate across a wide range of skin tones. An assessment confirms the right settings for you specifically.

Are treatments performed by qualified practitioners? Yes. Injectables are administered under delegation from a licensed physician, in line with Ontario requirements.
